Dynaflux R1100G Water Recirculator, 115VAC, Gear Pump

The Dynaflux line of water coolers are a great way of cooling your spot welder without the high cost of purchasing a chiller.  A water recirculator pumps water-based coolant through a radiator, much like on a car engine, to rely on passive air cooling.  A chiller, which uses a compressor and refrigerant to remove heat, is more costly and sometimes not necessary.  

DO I NEED A CHILLER OR A RECIRCULATOR?

There is no simple rule to determine whether you need a chiller or a recirculator. If you are welding in high production, welding aluminum, or other important or exotic applications, a chiller is the clear choice. If the production rate is low, or the machine is used infrequently, a recirculator is probably fine. Please contact us for details.

CAN I USE MY WATER COOLER FROM MY OLD TIG TORCH?

Typically, TIG torch water coolers (like the ones from Miller and Hobart) are undersized for a production-worthy spot welder.  The Dynaflux product line carries coolers with larger capacity reservoirs and higher flow rates, like what are needed for a spot welder.  

GEAR PUMP OR VANE PUMP?

The gear pump on the Dynaflux coolers is rebuildable.  The vane pump is not.  Because we have been in business since 1973, we want you to buy stuff that we can fix.  We always sell the gear pump, so we can fix it if you ever have a problem.  

VOLTAGE

The R1100G is available in 115VAC and  230VAC.  This listing is just for the 115VAC version and it is not switchable to 230VAC.  If you wish to receive a 230VAC unit, please contact us for additional information.
