Tecna 7902 Hand Held Spot Welding Gun – 2.5 KVA (shipping included!)

The Tecna 7902 manually operated weld gun is a user-friendly, quality kit.  It is air cooled and clamps manually, so you don't have to wrestle air and water lines.  There are less expensive alternatives, with no parts available and no support (read; Harbor Freight, Chicago Electric) but the quality of the Tecna 7902 far surpasses them.  It is a great replacement for the Miller MSW and LMSW, which are no longer in production (MSW-41 & MSW-41T, LMSW-52 & LMSW-52T).  

• Manually operated, no air or water lines to encumber movement.
• Versatile portable spot welder for auto body repair and maintenance shops.
• Synchronous built-in electronic timer with SCR from 2 to 65 cycles.
• Compensation circuit starts the timer only when there is a proper passage of current, which enables to perform on oxidised sheets, on surfaces with paint residues or on black sheets.
• Current control with phase shift adjustment to carry out difficult welds, on very thin thickness, on rods with reduced diameter, on stainless steel sheet and similar.
• Force adjustment with scale in daN.
• Additional arm couplings to provide larger opening between arms.
• All transformers are coated with F class insulation material. Tests are made using 4000 volts.
